Material Testing Measurement and Discussion

Mr. Wilfred Lim of Bruel&Kjaer South Asia Pacific Area has visit iARG for conducting some material testing and measurement using the 4206 impedance tubes on May 28-29.

Some technical aspect about sound absorption and sound transmission loss measurement also discussed in deeply while the two days visit. iARG has a more than fifteen years experience on utilizing B&K instruments for research and teaching purposes including thirteen years of material testing by using impedance tube technique. In iARG we are also developed our own method for measuring the sound transmission loss which is already published in an international peer reviewed journal on 2009.

After visiting iARG Mr. Lim continue his trip to Makassar for seting and training new B&K instruments in Hasanuddin University.
