Thank You Professor Yunseon Ryu

Alhamdulillah, Professor Yunseon Ryu has visited the Physics Department for the second time on 21-23 March 2013. This visit is fully supported by Bruel&Kjaer Denmark in order to strengthen mutual benefit cooperation between iARG and Bruel&Kjaer. The covering areas including research, acoustics education, and conducting training or commisioning for Bruel&Kjaer technology in Indonesia.

There are three agenda on this visit:

1. Workshop on surface absorption including its standard and ISO perspectives. The proposed impedance tube technique are designed for measuring and analysis asphalt surface sound absorption coefficient , and  suitable for on-site walls, floor and pavement surface absorption measurement as well.

2. Agreement for long-term cooperation. In this case the Bruel&Kjaer Denmark with iARG will design and conducting join research, education programme, and industrial services. It is surely provide many benefits for both parties.

3. Dr. Ryu was the invited speaker at the 37th National Seminar of the Indonesian Physical Society of Indonesia, which took place at the Department of Physics on March 23, 2013. The presentation material in pdf available for download here.
